Housekeeper Inspector
DescriptionJOB OVERVIEW The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for inspecting designated guest rooms and public areas of the resort in a continued effort to deliver outstanding guest services. The Housekeeping Inspector assists the Executive Housekeeper in keeping the resort clean and well-maintained. Must be dependable and honest and work well with employees and guests. Requires problem solving skills and training abilities. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and more. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Working knowledge and understanding of the proper set-up and placement of rooms. Update the proper status of rooms in the system. Notify maintenance of repairs needed in guest rooms and public spaces. Working knowledge of safe chemical handling as prescribed in the MSDS sheets and practicing safe working conditions, including bloodborne pathogens. Pleasantly handle guest complaints concerning housekeeping services. Take ownership and accountability of your work. Complete duties assigned to ensure guests have an exceptional experience. Ensures lost and found procedures are used. Ensure Room Attendants have the proper equipment and supplies necessary. Complete daily and weekly checklists through device. Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager. EXPERIENCE Laundry and Housekeeping: 2 years Basic computer knowledge
