Hotel Breakfast Attendant Part-time Monday - Friday
JOB OVERVIEW: The job involves preparing and serving high-quality food to guests while exceeding their expectations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a well-stocked breakfast/reception room for hotel guests.
Prepare and serve all food products as needed, ensuring proper presentation.
Transport food from the preparation area to the breakfast/reception room for timely set-up.
Maintain coolers, machines, coffee machines, and tables at acceptable levels of sanitation and organization at all times.
Stock dishware, silverware, styrofoam cups, condiments, and other items as needed.
Check and maintain coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity, and quality of food products.
Requisition food with necessary approvals according to policy.
Take proper care of all equipment.
Report to the supervisor if repairs or unsafe conditions are needed.
Respond to guest complaints and special requests and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.
Monitor and control supplies and food and minimize waste within all areas of comp services.
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
May regularly assist with deep cleaning projects.
May assist with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum qualifications: Basic reading, writing, and math skills. Some housekeeping experience and the ability to speak English are preferred.
This job requires the ability to perform the following tasks:
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance.
Stand up and move about the facility frequently, bend, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
Utilize communication skills significantly when interacting with guests and employees.
May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
