Associates will be responsible for accurately sorting merchandise by SKU number, maintaining an organized work area, and safely handling products throughout the loading and unloading process.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n\nLoad and unload trucks, trailers, containers, and pallets safely and efficiently.\n\nManually move, stack, and organize boxes, cases, cartons, and other merchandise.\n\nSort products according to SKU numbers, product type, customer order, or designated warehouse location.\n\nVerify SKU numbers and product information to ensure items are placed in the correct location.\n\nBreak down and build pallets as needed.\n\nUse pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.\n\nStack products safely and securely to prevent damage or shifting.\n\nAssist with staging products for shipment or storage.\n\nMaintain accurate counts of products when required.\n\nInspect products and packaging for visible damage and report issues to the supervisor.\n\nKeep loading docks, aisles, and work areas clean and organized.\n\nFollow all safety procedures, company policies, and warehouse guidelines.\n\nWork effectively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals.\n\nPerform other general warehouse duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\n\nPrevious warehouse, loading/unloading, lumper, material handling, or distribution experience preferred.\n\nAbility to accurately read and identify SKU numbers and product labels.\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.\n\nStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n\nReliable attendance and punctuality are required.\n\nAbility to safely handle and move products throughout the shift.\n\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull products.\n\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and lift throughout the workday.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.\n\nAbility to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and physically demanding conditions.\n\nSafety & Attendance\n\nSafety and reliability are critical to this position. Associates are expected to:\n\nReport to work on time and as scheduled.\n\nFollow all warehouse safety rules and PPE requirements.\n\nUse proper lifting and material-handling techniques.\n\nImmediately report damaged products, unsafe conditions, or injuries to management.\n\nMaintain a clean and safe work area.\n\nIdeal Candidate\n\nThe ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented, with the ability to accurately sort products by SKU while working at a steady pace.
