The Project Engineer will coordinate technical design, manage construction documentation, support cost and schedule control, and work with field teams and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupport project planning and execution by coordinating engineering deliverables, construction documents, submittals, and RFIs.\nDevelop and maintain project schedules and assist in tracking progress against milestones; collaborate with project managers to mitigate delays.\nPrepare and review technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation; coordinate with design teams and architects for constructability.\nMonitor site activities through regular site visits; verify work quality, conformance to specifications, and adherence to safety procedures.\nAssist with cost control activities including reviewing subcontractor bids, tracking costs, processing change orders, and maintaining budgetary documentation.\nCoordinate and communicate with subcontractors, vendors, consultants, owners, and permitting authorities to resolve issues and keep work progressing.\nManage project documentation: maintain logs (RFIs, submittals, change orders), update project files, and ensure accurate record-keeping for handover.\nSupport commissioning, turnover, and closeout processes including punch-list management and compiling O&M manuals and warranties.\nPerform site measurements, survey verification, and technical calculations as needed to support field installations.\nPromote and enforce site safety and quality control standards; participate in safety meetings and inspections.\nUse project management and BIM/CAD tools to coordinate drawings and collaborate across disciplines.\nProvide technical support to field teams and apprentices; help train staff on project-specific processes and best practices.\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelors degree in Civil, Construction, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.\n3+ years of experience in construction project engineering or related role on commercial, industrial, office, retail, or multifamily projects.\nProven knowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes, and standards relevant to commercial and multifamily construction.\nExperience with construction documentation processes: submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract administration.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Microsoft Project or Primavera, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).\nStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with owners, contractors, design teams, and field personnel.\n\nBenefits\n\nMedical\nVision\nDental\n401(K)\nBonus\nAnd More!\n- For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
