FMC is searching for talented, self‑motivated logistics professionals to work in a free‑thinking culture creating the next gen premium entry EVs with the highest autonomous technologies at our Santa Clara, CA facility.\n\nRole Responsibilities\n\nManage the Dimensional Engineering deliverables for a portion of the vehicle, including\n\nDetail project planning and execution\n\nEngineering Service Supplier performance\n\nDatum coordination, tooling support locations and assembly sequence development\n\nVariation analysis review and validation of design concepts\n\nGD&T specification recommendation to Vehicle Engineers\n\nSupport product prototype and implementation activities, including\n\nPart and assembly dimensional buy‑off\n\nSlow build / Match build planning and execution\n\nVariation analysis validation\n\nInstallation, tryout, validation and debug of equipment\n\nDimensional Objective confirmation\n\nReporting to stakeholders on progress and issues\n\nDrive dimensional issue resolution in the Design, Engineering and build phases\n\nRole Requirements\n\nMotivated, self‑starter, effective in varied team environments. Need to be flexible in occasional irregular work hours to participate in global conference calls depending on the program.\n\nWorking knowledge of the vehicle development best practices, including process and product deliverables.\n\nActive participation in 3 or more vehicle development cycles.\n\nExpert in Dimensional Engineering strategies, including coordinated datums, product/process enablers, variation analysis modeling techniques, GD&T strategies.\n\nMastery of the ASME Y14.5-2009 standard.\n\nSignificant, demonstrated working knowledge of part manufacturing and assembly processes.
