Warehouse Associate - Entry LevelWarehouse Associate - Entry Level La Porte, TX Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourJob SummaryThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely loading trucks, handling shipping and receiving activities, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role primarily involves loading large bore plastic pipes, palletized fittings, and spools using sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in warehouse operations and forklift operation.Job ResponsibilitiesSafely load trucks with large bore plastic pipe, palletized fittings, and spoolsOperate sit-down forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials throughout the warehouse and yardPull and prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and efficientlyReceive, inspect, verify, and stock incoming materials and inventoryMaintain organized staging areas to support shipping and receiving operationsEnsure all shipments are loaded securely and safely according to company proceduresMaintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards at all timesAssist with general warehouse duties and material handling as neededSupport inventory control and product organization within the warehouse and yard areasJob RequirementsMinimum of 6 months of recent warehouse and sit-down forklift experience requiredForklift operator experience requiredAbility to safely load and move large materials in a warehouse or pipe yard environmentStrong reliability and consistent work history with no more than 3 months of employment gaps preferredExperience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations preferredCombilift experience preferredAbility to learn product knowledge quicklyStrong attention to safety procedures and warehouse best practicesAbility to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, loading, and material handlingSteel-toed boots requiredWork ExperiencePrevious experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, delivery, or inventory control preferredExperience working in pipe yards, industrial warehouses, or construction material environments preferred
