We invite you to forge ahead with us.\nWhat you will do:\nLead and develop a team of data integration professionals supporting energy and utility infrastructure projects, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.\nPartner closely with Energy & Utilities leadership, survey, engineering, permitting and design teams to align geospatial solutions with client needs and project delivery goals.\nServe as a technical and strategic resource for integrating GIS and data workflows into transmission, distribution, and utility infrastructure projects.\nEstablish and maintain GIS data governance standards for Energy & Utilities projects, including data quality, metadata, documentation, and repeatable delivery practices.\nSupport project pursuits and execution by defining geospatial scopes of work, deliverables, and data requirements for proposals, contracts, and client engagements.\nGuide the integration of GIS and survey into permitting and design workflows, improving data accuracy, reducing rework, and supporting informed decision-making across disciplines.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline project delivery through automation, standardization, and improved data integration across CAD, GIS, and enterprise systems.\nEvaluate and recommend geospatial technologies and tools that enhance efficiency, scalability, and client value within the Energy & Utilities portfolio.\nRepresent WSB's geospatial capabilities in internal coordination meetings, client discussions, and interactions with regulatory agencies.\nCommunicate geospatial insights through clear visualizations, presentations, and reports tailored to both technical stakeholders and clients.\nWhat you will bring:\nA strong understanding of GIS, data integration, and governance in a consulting and project delivery environment.\nProven ability to lead teams and collaborate across disciplines in fast-paced, client-focused projects.\nExperience supporting energy, utilities, or infrastructure projects with geospatial analysis and data-driven solutions.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical outcomes for clients and project teams.\nHands-on experience with ESRI platforms, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online / ArcGIS Enterprise.\nOur Preferred Candidate will have:\nA Bachelor's degree in computer science, environmental science, geography, or a related field (Master's preferred).\n7+ years of professional experience in GIS, data integration, or geospatial leadership roles supporting infrastructure or energy projects.\nSupervisory or managerial experience, ideally in a consulting environment.\nExperience with formal project management and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.\nProficiency with Python, SQL, FME, or similar tools for workflow automation and data processing.\nKnowledge of CAD/GIS integration and enterprise data workflows common to utility and infrastructure projects.\nExperience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure) and scalable data architectures.\nWho We Are:\nWSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in Transportation, Community Planning, Environmental, Energy, Municipal, and Construction services.
