Med/Surg 5 UnitOur Med/Surg 5 unit is a 31-bed acute care setting that serves patients with a variety of medical conditions, monitors telemetry and is the hospital's designated chemotherapy department. Our unit is a great opportunity to gain experience in many types of patient populations that our community serves. The education for MS5 includes a 10-12 week precepted orientation which includes becoming both telemetry and chemotherapy certified. We take pride in being awarded the Team Daisy award twice in the last two years! We have a 24-hour charge RN to support the needs of our team and serve as a valuable resource to the staff.
