The Project Manager will guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure financial and engineering excellence, and contribute to ongoing business development efforts.\nThis position is ideal for a seasoned structural engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment, values accountability, and takes pride in delivering practical, high-quality solutions.\nProject Leadership & Delivery Lead and manage structural engineering projects from proposal through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and client requirements\nServe as Lead Engineer on assigned projects, including self-performed work and projects secured by others\nOversee and mentor Project Engineers and Design Engineers, delegating tasks based on expertise, workload, and project needs\nPrepare, review, and approve redline drawing markups and ensure accurate implementation by drafting teams\nConduct risk assessments, proactively identify issues, and recommend mitigation strategies to management\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders\nAddress client questions and concerns throughout the project lifecycle with professionalism and responsiveness\nEstablish, maintain, and strengthen long-term client relationships to support repeat business and client satisfaction\nAssist in securing new project work through proposals and business development efforts\nFinancial & Contract Management Develop, manage, and track project budgets in alignment with contracted fees\nConduct cost analyses and prepare project estimates for proposals\nMaintain accurate project accounting records and contracted fee data in company systems\nReview and approve client invoices and assist with the collection of aged accounts receivable\nCoordinate submission and review of contracts, subconsultant agreements, purchase orders, lien waivers, and NDAs\nDemonstrate working knowledge of contract language and potential legal or financial risks\nQuality, Compliance & Documentation Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company standards\nPrepare and submit complete drawings and calculations for internal quality control reviews\nRespond to QA/QC feedback and implement revisions in accordance with established procedures\nMaintain organized and compliant electronic and hard-copy project files\nLeadership, Mentorship & Professional Development Mentor engineers to support technical growth, efficiency, and career development\nProvide constructive performance feedback to team members\nCollaborate with management, marketing, and business development teams to support company growth\nParticipate in continuing education, professional organizations, and networking activities\nMaintain required professional development hours for licensure\nGeneral Expectations Demonstrate a positive, accountable, and team-oriented attitude\nComply with all company policies and procedures\nPerform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives\nQualifications & Experience Education & Licensure Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering (structural emphasis), or a closely related field (required)\nProfessional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure (preferred)\nExperience 8–15 years of progressive structural engineering experience preferred\nProven experience leading projects, managing budgets, and mentoring technical teams\nTechnical & Professional Skills Strong proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA-3D, RAM, TEDDS, or similar tools\nAbility to produce clear, organized, and legible hand calculations\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable project documentation tools\nExceptional budgeting, cost control, and financial management skills\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills\nDemonstrated leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nWhy This Opportunity This role offers the opportunity to lead meaningful projects, influence technical outcomes, and build lasting client relationships while working within a collaborative, growth-oriented organization.
