With a 421% three-year growth, we’re also ranked No. 31 in Manufacturing and the 3rd fastest-growing company in Maine.\nJob Summary:\nThe Composite Engineer plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and problem-solving within a fast-paced production environment.\nTasks/Duties\nProduction Support - Work with Plant Management, Production Supervisor, Quality Assurance and other plant level departments to evaluate and address production issues, both product and process in nature.\nComposite Materials Kits – Develop, maintain, and improve composite material digital patterns including for fiberglass, foam core, and structural reinforcements.\nManufacturing Documentation - Develop and update manufacturing documentation to be used by Operations (i.e. – lamination schedules, core and reinforcement layouts, process work instructions, etc.).\nManufacturing Tools - Identify and develop tools (ex: jigs and fixtures) for increased productivity or reduction of non-value-added costs.
