At ST Engineering MRAS, we are also rapidly augmenting our maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capabilities leveraging the company’s expanded aircraft nacelle portfolio as well as it’s materials and processing expertise.\n\nWhat YOU will do\n\nComposite Part Design and Manufacturing\n\nLead the design and development of composite parts for technology demonstrators.\n\nDevelop, refine and industrialize new composite manufacturing processes to maximize component properties, reduce energy use and improve yield.\n\nEvaluate tooling methodologies for rapid prototyping.\n\nEnsure new material and/or process compliance with internal specifications and industry standards.\n\nProvide recommendations for material or process adjustments based on performance deviations and end-use requirements.\n\nLeadership & Project Management\n\nLead R&D projects, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.\n\nManage vendors, suppliers and external technology partners.\n\nSupport team initiatives and resource planning.\n\nWhat YOU must bring to Succeed\n\nMinimum of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, or related field\n\n5+ years experience in manufacturing or a related engineering field\n\nProficiency in CAD modelling (E.g. Solidworks, NX, CATIA, or equivalent) and familiarity with mechanical testing\n\nExperience in tooling fabrication processes\n\nFamiliarity with composite fabrication techniques\n\nDesire to work hands-on in lab and pilot manufacturing environments\n\nThis position involves access to export-controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. A ‘U.S. Person,’ as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62, includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, individuals lawfully admitted for permanent residence (green card holders), and individuals granted asylum or refugee status in the United States. To be considered for this position, you must either be a U.S. Person or fall within a legally recognized export control exception or authorization.
