This individual will support data development initiatives, build and maintain reporting datasets, assist with high-level incident triage, and work closely with internal technical team members on business intelligence and operational support.The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems independently, has strong SQL skills, and can quickly understand business processes while supporting enterprise reporting initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries and datasetsBuild and enhance Power BI dashboards and reportsDesign data models supporting business reportingAnalyze data quality issues and recommend improvementsPerform high-level incident triage and troubleshoot data-related issuesInvestigate production support tickets using ServiceNowCollaborate with business users and technical teams to resolve issuesWork closely with senior team members to support ongoing data initiativesDocument processes, report logic, and technical solutionsAssist with reporting enhancements and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills:Strong SQL development experienceExperience creating Power BI dashboards and visualizationsServiceNow experience (ticketing, incident management, or support)Experience building and validating datasetsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skillsExperience supporting production environmentsPreferred Skills:ETL or data integration experienceData warehousing conceptsMicrosoft SQL ServerExperience supporting enterprise applicationsManufacturing industry experience )Must have soft skills:Self-starterComfortable managing multiple prioritiesStrong attention to detailExcellent problem-solving skillsCustomer-service mindsetAbility to work with both technical and business stakeholders - great communication skills!Work Breakdown: 40% SQL development 10% Power BI development 25% ServiceNow incident investigation 15% Data validation/testing 10% Documentation and meetingsTypical Day ExampleA Power BI dashboard is showing incorrect sales numbers.A ServiceNow ticket is opened.The analyst traces the issue through SQL queries and underlying tables.They determine whether it's a data issue, ETL issue, application issue, or user issue.They either fix it or route it to the appropriate development team.This person lives at the intersection of Business Intelligence, SQL Development, Data Support, and Production Operations.TeamSoft is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
