This is a hybrid opportunity with 60% of work being on site in DC\nDuties will include:\nDevelop and deploy machine learning models to solve complex problems across a cloud infrastructure that houses sensitive data and models that support mission critical operations.\nWork closely and collaborate with a dynamic cross-functional team crafting data pipelines for model training to implement machine learning algorithms.\nLeverage various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google cloud to build, train, and deploy machine learning models at scale\nImplement and optimize machine learning algorithms for efficiency and performance\nConduct thorough experimentation and analysis to improve model accuracy and performance\nParticipate in informal and formal code reviews\nParticipate in architectural reviews and offer alternative architectural patterns to optimize application performance\nDocument processes and solutions that serve as communication findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholder\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nPart time or full time: Full Time\nVaccination required: Yes\nFlexibility option: High Co-Location\nRequired professional and vendor certifications: AWS Certified Developer Associate\nTS-SCI clearance\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.\n8+ years of experience in computer science, data science, machine learning\nProven experience developing and deploying machine learning models in a production environment.\nHands-on experience with major cloud platforms\nStrong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with libraries like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.\nUnderstanding of version control, testing, and debugging.\nStrong communications skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to various stakeholders and audiences\nAgile development experience along with related technologies (e.g., Jira)\nSkills: GitLab, Python and R Studio, Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, Oracle), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Data Science, Machine Learning\nPhysical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long-periods and must be able to lift 20 pounds occasionally.\nMental Requirements: Must be able to mutli-task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.\nPreferred:\nTS-SCI clearance\nDeep knowledge of security best practices, experience with cloud security tools, and working with role and attribute based security models\nDeep knowledge of DevSecOps and MLOPs\nFamiliarity and experience with the Intelligence Community (IC), and the intel cycle.\nFamiliarity and experience with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).\nMaster’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.\nClearance: TS/SCI\nOnline applications, please.\nThe likely salary range for this position is $175,000-185,000 per year.
