Candidates should be comfortable owning installation quality from rough-in through final device verification.\nSkills Evaluation Process\nThis is not an apprentice or Tech I position. As part of our interview process, candidates will complete a short hands-on wiring and termination evaluation designed to reflect real-world installation scenarios.\nThis evaluation helps confirm practical installation experience and ensures the role is a good fit for technicians who are comfortable working independently in custom and retrofit environments.\nThis position includes a 90-day field evaluation period to confirm independent installation ability and alignment with Texo Systems installation standards. As part of this evaluation process, installation ability may be reviewed through both structured skills assessments and field performance observation.\nSuccessful completion of this evaluation period typically includes demonstrating the ability to:\ncomplete access control door installations independently\nperform clean and consistent cable terminations\nverify device functionality prior to leaving job sites\nfollow company labeling and documentation standards\nmaintain safe work practices on active job sites\ncommunicate clearly regarding field conditions and installation progress\nCompletion of the introductory evaluation period does not change the at-will nature of employment. Employment with Texo Systems remains at-will during and after this evaluation period.\nCompensation Structure\nThis position is structured with a starting pay rate based on prior experience and interview performance.
