SUMMARY: To oversee all table games/gaming operations while ensuring that game integrity and team member compliance to Policies and Procedures, Compact and Prairie Island Indian Community Minimum Internal Control Standards (PIIC MICS) is achieved. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESManage all table games/gaming operations to meet financial and operational goals and objectivesProvide direction, support and training to staff including team member performance evaluations, coaching/counseling, staffing and developmentConduct regularly scheduled staff meetings within all areas of the Gaming DivisionDelegate authority to subordinates when applicableReview operational expenses and develop data to support budgets, gaming trend analysis and customer recognitionEstablish and update operational policies and procedures as neededMonitor Gaming operations to ensure external and internal policies and procedures are being followed and enforcedCoordinate with Surveillance on matters of game securityResolve complaints requiring explanation and interpretation of house rules Develop and implement internal controls to meet or exceed PIIC MICSKNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and Certification Required:6 years of casino management experience including extensive knowledge of Indian gaming as it relates to table games, bingo, slot operations, surveillance techniques and specific gaming regulations2 years of supervisory experience, with ability to provide leadership to develop and direct staff maximizing performancePreferred:High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experienceSkills Required:Accurate and detail-orientedHighly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing prioritiesStrong computer skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and Windows XPExcellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent problem solving skillsStrong leadership skillsAbilities Required:Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygieneAbility to serve both internal and external customersProven ability in the areas of budgeting, profitability and productivityAbility to maintain a professional demeanorAbility to manage projects in a timely and efficient mannerREQUIRED TRAININGTreasure Island guest service trainingTIPS training and certificationEffectively Handling Harassment trainingTitle 31 trainingMICS trainingPlayer Tracking Systems trainingAny position-related training as determined by division directorPHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to walk and / or stand and sit for long periods throughout the dayMust be able to reach and twist occasionallyMust be able to push, pull and grasp objects occasionallyMust have the ability to independently lift up to 25 pounds occasionallyMust be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motionsMust have good eye hand coordinationWORKING ENVIRONMENTWork is performed throughout the entire property and may include excessive noise, flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke and outdoors for guest eventsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidaysExtensive computer useOccasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
