Team members are hands-on with large-scale, complex systems including fully integrated engines and stage assemblies, pushing hardware to the limits and directly contributing to flight readiness. The work is fast-paced and highly operational, ideal for those with backgrounds in aviation, automotive, manufacturing, offshore operations, industrial systems, construction, or adjacent industries. As the company scales, the Stennis Test team becomes even more critical to unlocking our next phase of growth: proving out full-stage systems and paving the way for routine, reliable flights of Terran R.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nWe are seeking a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to join our team at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. In this role, you will lead the development, design, engineering, and construction of Terran R test infrastructure, helping deliver next-generation test stands and facilities.\n\nAs part of the Test Infrastructure organization, you will coordinate cross-functional technical teams to define architectural, structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and industrial requirements. You will serve as the owner's representative with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies, while partnering internally with Infrastructure, Test Operations, and Vehicle teams to develop project designs, budgets, and schedules.\n\nYou will manage construction documentation, RFPs, bidding and evaluations, subcontractor selection and oversight, and on-site construction management to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. This role requires strong experience in field and construction engineering, project management, and the ability to independently drive complex projects from concept through execution. Up to 25% travel is expected to support design, construction, testing, and operations across Relativity sites.\n\nAbout You:\n\nBachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related technical discipline\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in the aerospace and/or construction industry, including a combination of field engineering and project management experience\nExperience with design documentation, construction drawings, bid solicitation, contractor selection, construction management, field supervision, permitting, QA/QC, and safety\nExperience in project scoping, budgeting, and scheduling at both the task and overall construction program levels\nExperience with architectural, structural, civil, and MEPF design, construction, and operations\nKnowledge of standard construction procedures, best practices, and means and methods\nProficiency working within 3D models using NX, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software\nExperience with development permitting, land use controls, conditional use permits, and coordination with local government agencies\n\nNice to haves but not required:\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders\nDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment\nExperience independently driving projects while managing and reporting progress to remote leadership\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously\nAbility to read, develop, and interpret technical plans, drawings, blueprints, and models\nAbility to manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and initiative\nAbility to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and constraints\nAbility to work in dynamic environments and execute time-sensitive tasks\n\nSuccessful candidates must clear a background check administered by the US government to obtain clearance for on-site work at our government partner location in Stennis, Mississippi.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
