Head Softball Coach

Head Softball CoachWoodstock High School is seeking a passionate and experienced Head Softball Coach to lead our girls' softball program. The successful candidate will guide the team in accordance with the Vermont Principals' Association (VPA) rules and regulations, promoting skill development, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.Key Responsibilities:Plan and conduct practices, games, and conditioning sessions aligned with VPA guidelinesDevelop players' skills and foster teamwork and disciplineEnsure compliance with all VPA eligibility and safety standardsPromote academic achievement alongside athletic commitmentCommunicate effectively with players, parents, school staff, and the athletic departmentManage equipment and coordinate game schedules and transportation as neededQualifications:Experience coaching or playing softball at the high school or collegiate level preferredKnowledge of VPA rules and regulations related to high school softballStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to motivate and mentor student-athletesCommitment to fostering a positive, inclusive team environmentAvailability for practices, games, and meetings during evenings and weekendsBenefits:Competitive stipend of $3,500 – $4,000Opportunity to positively influence student-athletes in a supportive communityWork within the framework of the Vermont Principals' Association
