Joining Dignity Memorial means contributing to a caring culture that supports families during some of their most difficult moments.Role Description The Family Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ, responsible for guiding families through funeral, cremation, and cemetery arrangements with empathy and professionalism. In this role, you will meet with families to understand their needs, explain available services and products, and help them design personalized tributes that reflect their loved one’s life and preferences. You will prepare and review documentation, coordinate service details with internal teams and external partners, and ensure all arrangements are carried out accurately and on time. The position involves maintaining regular communication with families, answering questions, providing updates, and offering supportive guidance throughout the process. You may also participate in community outreach, follow up with families after services, and support location goals related to service quality, compliance, and responsible revenue growth.Qualifications Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to support families with empathy and professionalism.Organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills to manage multiple cases, documentation, and service timelines.Customer service and relationship-building skills, ideally with experience in a high-touch, emotionally sensitive environment.Ability to learn and use computer systems, scheduling tools, and basic office software for records, contracts, and service coordination.Comfort discussing end-of-life services, with a high level of discretion, integrity, and respect for diverse cultural and religious practices.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, human services, or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in funeral services, hospitality, social services, or sales is beneficial but not required.Ability to work on-site in Scottsdale, AZ, with a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
