{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"0cb03ffc83c382b5f0f016cb","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0cb03ffc83c382b5f0f016cb","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/0cb03ffc83c382b5f0f016cb","title":"Materials Handler First shift","description":"The Forklift Operator will be responsible for the following:\nAssist with extra workload, covering absences, ensuring proper material is sent to customer, inventory assistance and layered audits.\nLoad, unload and stage products and materials.\nUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.\nMust have the ability to use scanning equipment and inventory software via tablet and onboard computer systems.\nLocate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.\nIdentify equipment, rack, product and property and report immediately any accident or incident to management.\nParticipate in incident investigations and reporting.\nReport any shortages or quality deficiencies to shipping or receiving.\nTransport raw materials to production workstations.\nHelp other team members in material handling capacity not requiring the use material handling equipment.\nHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facility.\nInspect and maintain daily equipment checklists to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.\nComply with company policies, safety policies and legal guidelines.\nOther duties as required.\nGeneral Requirements:\n6 months experience with Forklift and the ability to pass CLIs forklift training certification process.\nPrevious experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.\nAbility to read, listen, understand, and follow directions and work instructions.\nAbility to operate various types of material handling equipment, including tuggers, forklifts, cherry pickers, and stand-up reach trucks.\nAbility to count accurately.\nAbility and flexibility to work in a variety of roles.\nAbility to work with others in a team environment.\nAbility to work full time with extra hours & weekends as required.\nExcellent attendance and punctuality.\nMust have the ability to use scanning equipment and inventory software via tablet and onboard computer systems.\nMust be detail oriented.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\n\nComprehensive Logistics Co., Inc. is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nThis employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
