We are looking for talented individuals who enjoy creating firmware for networking products, prototyping concepts, and investigating in new technologies. In this position, the candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust networking products.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nIncludes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):\n\nDesign and implement baseboard management controller (BMC) features to support Supermicro products\nPrepare design documents and test plan\nCo-work with hardware team, test team to provide best customer experience\nDevelop BMC based on IPMI and DMTF standards, including Redfish, MCTP, PLDM, SPDM\nEnhance BMC security with standards define by NIST, TCG, OCP\n\nPlease note that this position requires regular in-office attendance. The successful candidate is expected to be present in the office during standard working hours as determined by the company. In-office collaboration and participation in team meetings, training sessions, and other on-site activities are essential aspects of this role. Candidates should consider the commuting distance and be prepared to fulfill their responsibilities in the designated office location.\nQualifications:\nMinimum BS in EE/CS/CE, Master is preferred\nMinimum 5 years working experience in firmware development.\nStrong programming skills in C/C++, Java, Python\nFamiliar software development under Linux, such as GCC, Makefile\nPreferred to have experience with OpenBMC\nPreferred to familiar with IPMI, DMTF standards\nSalary Range\n$152,000 - $168,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
