Pay: \$18.50 - \$21.50 an hour, depending on experienceand education Shift differentials: Earn up to \$3 per hour extra forweekend shifts, \$2 per hour extra for evening shifts, and \$1 per hourextra for overnight shifts, allowing you to increase your earnings basedon your availability. As our full-time, part-time, or per diem 3rd Shift ResidentialCounselor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety andwell-being of our residents during night hours. This role includesproviding supervision and support, assisting with nighttime routines,and fostering a calm environment. You will promptly address emergenciesor resident needs with professionalism, maintaining detaileddocumentation of activities and incidents. Collaboration with day shiftstaff is vital for seamless care continuity. Additionally, you\'ll playa crucial role in empowering residents to achieve greater independenceand control over their lives by assisting with personal care, householdtasks, social connections, health, recreation, and communityinvolvement, bridging the gap between current accomplishments and futureaspirations. DO YOUMEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS? 18+ years of age Must have a validdriver\'s license Capable of remaining awake during an overnight shiftto ensure the safety and well-being of students Able to work holidaysand weekend shifts as required Able to perform activities of dailyliving Able to perform physical interventions as necessary to providethe safest environment for our students A mandatory 6 days of trainingis required with a schedule of Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm plusthe following Monday. 1 year of caregiving experience is preferred! Ahigh school degree or equivalent is also a bonus!
