About the Opportunity:The Financial Educator role provides vital support by guiding patients through their benefits, coverage, and financial options related to fertility care. This position contributes to patient care by serving as an educator, advocate, and liaison, ensuring patients understand and navigate their financial responsibilities throughout their treatment journey. The role offers opportunities for professional growth while maintaining close patient interaction.3. Responsibilities:• Consult with patients regarding benefits, coverage, and financial options• Perform benefit verification and prior authorization tasks• Provide ongoing financial education and assistance to patients• Maintain and update patient financial and insurance records4. Requirements:• 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing, collections, insurance, and patient interaction• Ability to interpret payer remittance advice including allowed charges, contractual adjustments, denials, and patient responsibilities• Bachelor''s Degree preferred• Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills• Detail-oriented, independent, and computer proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel)• High level of customer service5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:• $23.00 to 27.00 per hour, commensurate with experience6.
