We are looking to expand our engineering team and hire a junior engineer to learn from our more experienced engineering staff.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nAble to pass a government background check\nCreates designs for electronic security systems including but not limited to Access Control Systems, CCTV Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems.\nCreates system testing plans for electronic security systems\nCreates system operation manuals for electronic security systems\nReviews designs for accuracy and quality\nAssists the business development team with proposal development\nCreates mark-ups for CAD operators\nAnswers questions for field personnel via telephone\nAssists help desk technicians via telephone when needed\nTravels to conduct quality control inspections or system testing when needed\nMaintains a working knowledge of new and existing products from established vendors\nActively learns from more experienced engineers\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nTeamwork\nWritten and verbal communication\nAttention to detail\nMathematics\nProficient with Microsoft Office\nAbility to read and create blueprints and designs\nLogical reasoning\nOrganization\nTechnical knowledge in at least one area such as information technology, electronic security, electrical or mechanical design.\n\nWork Experience:\n\nWork experience in a related field is desired\nElectronic or physical security experience is a plus\n\nRequired Education:\n\nEngineering degree required\n\nBenefits:\n\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nDental insurance\nHealth insurance\nHealth savings account\nLife insurance\nPaid time off\nParental leave\nProfessional development assistance\nReferral program\nRetirement plan\nVision insurance\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nJob Type: Full-time\n\nSalary: $60K to $70K annually depending on experience\n\nWork Location: Hybrid remote\n\nThis job profile does not constitute a contract for employment.
