Our team works with advanced tools like SolidWorks, CNC forming, and laser cutting systems to create solutions that directly impact manufacturing efficiency and product quality.\nWe’re especially known for our expertise in plating-on-plastics (POP) rack design, a critical but often overlooked component in modern manufacturing.\nPosition Summary\nRack Processing is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our production team. This hands-on position is responsible for fabricating, fitting, welding, and assembling custom racks and fixtures used in industrial finishing and coating processes. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and capable of interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications.\nThe time requirements are Monday – Friday 5:10 – 2:10, with an occasional opportunity for overtime\nEssential Functions and Duties\nFabrication & Welding\nFabricate, fit, weld, and assemble custom racks, fixtures, and related products according to engineering drawings and customer requirements.\nPerform MIG, TIG, brazing, soldering, and other welding processes as required and trained.\nCut, bend, grind, and finish materials using hand tools and fabrication equipment.\nVerify dimensions and tolerances using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, squares, and levels.\nBlueprint Interpretation & Quality\nRead and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.\nPerform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.\nSafety & Teamwork\nSafely operate fabrication and welding equipment\nWear and maintain required PPE, including welding helmets, gloves, hearing protection, and safety glasses.\nWork collaboratively with Production Managers, Engineering, Quality, and fellow team members to achieve production goals\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to read a tape measure and basic engineering drawings.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.\nPrevious welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.\nExperience with MIG and TIG welding.\nPreferred\nMSSC Certified Production Technician certification or welding certification.\nJoin our team and play a key role in building high-quality products that support our customers and operations.
