Position Summary: The Computer Science Division (CSD) at Western Oregon University (WOU) invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting in Winter 2025. The CSD offers programs at the undergraduate levels and contributes courses to several other programs at WOU including the undergraduate general education core. The main areas of teaching include data analytics, cybersecurity, database management, enterprise architecture, computing and communication infrastructure, web and mobile technologies, IT project management, and full-stack software development. The CSD faculty scholarship encompasses several areas of Information Systems, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Computer Science.
