Responsibilities include the following:\n1. Monitor the correcting of application errors by coordinating the appropriate changes and ensuring that the desired results are produced;\n2. Assist the Project Manager in analyzing, developing, and implementing complex functionality according to business requirements;\n3. Work with systems architects, and data/database specialists to coordinate and monitor the enhancement of application development and database design;\n4. Coordinate and monitor deployment and implementation;\n5. Coordinate the compilation and writing of program development documentation and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program;\n6. Monitor the performance of systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control the use of computer systems;\n7. Coordinate and monitor the preparation of detailed workflow charts and diagrams that describe input, output, and logical operation, and convert them into a series of instructions coded in a computer language;\n8. Ensure integrity of written instructions or manuals to guide end users;\n9. Analyze, review, and monitor the rewrite of programs, using workflow chart and diagram, and applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic;\n10. Coordinate and monitor the writing, updating, and maintenance of computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs.\nMinimum requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-degree experience in the job offered or in a related position. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.\nNo travel or telecommuting.
