To achieve this goal, they will perform a variety of complex operations requiring delicate and safe manual manipulation of electronics using hand tools, production equipment, computers, diagrams, drawings, and oral or written instructions. The Operator will ensure the quality and maintenance of the KPI for the production cell they are supporting by ensuring diligence to all work instructions and ensuring compliance to the quality control inspection procedures. The Operator will be required to continuously learn additional manufacturing cells to the degree that they can train, mentor, and monitor more junior staff on these cells. Finally, the Operator will facilitate, drive to conclusion, and represent the findings of small project to department heads.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nProduction\nWork within a team-based manufacturing cell to assemble and test complex, small-form electronics.\nPrepare for operator duties by attentively reviewing verbal instructions, work orders, production drawings, assembly instructions, and sample assemblies.\nPerform inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.\nEfficiently assemble and test devices to the KPI set for timeliness and quality.\nRecognize and document errors and quality issues within the products.\nSuccessfully learn a variety new products assemblies and testing.\nMaintain the stations for cleanliness and safety.\nFollow all plant safety, material handling and efficiency guidelines (e.g., ESD, 5S, OSHA, etc.).\nContinuously learn new work cells and train junior staff members on these cells.\nFacilitate small projects related to Production.\nWork with Engineering and Service teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues with our assemblies.\nMaintain a record of good and timely attendance.\nOther duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - The responsibilities listed below are representative, but not all inclusive of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to satisfactorily and successfully perform the essential duties of this position.
