In 2021, Igloo was acquired by Dometic Brands and now there is the opportunity to Globally grow both brands together.\n\nWe are on a journey of continuous growth - now looking for our next star - a passionate Assembly Line Lead.\n\nThis role is responsible to lead/supervise lines in assembly operations to assure the safe production of coolers of the highest quality.\n\nEssential Job Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nEnsure all employees, both new and current, feel welcomed and are treated with respect as well as providing them with clear instructions/training along with the correct tools and PPE required.\nEnsure safe working practices are followed and all accidents, hazards, near misses, and property damage are reported in the required time. Ensure that Safety and Quality requirements are in compliance.\nLine Lead must reinforce the use of PPE at all times.\nLine Leads are responsible for allowing restroom breaks as requested to employees assigned to their assembly line.\nThe FPI is required to be verified against the DJR and submitted for approval during the first 15 minutes of the shift.\nPerform all pre-shift, during and at the end of the shift reporting in a timely and accurate way as well as 5 minutes quality and safety meeting. Reporting includes but is not limited to line clearance report, hourly production board update, foam parameters checks and end of the shift report.\nAnytime there is any abnormal performance condition going on that keeps the line from achieving the expected Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Attainment or any other key indicator goal, the Line Lead must report it immediately to his/her supervisor for action to be taken to determine a resolution for the issue.\nAs a prerequisite all Line Leads are to be certified in all core positions (screw gunning, foaming, cleaning and drain plug installing).\nPrior to shift start up or at product change over, Line Lead must verify that DJR (Discrete Job Report) match each component listed and the finish product as whole.\nEnsure the goal for Efficiency and Attainment numbers are met, 95% or above. Report any issues that are keeping the line from reaching 95% or above, immediately to the supervisor.\nLine Lead is required to fill out Scrap Tickets (Non-Conforming Material Ticket) during and at the end of the shift, ensuring they are filled out properly and accurately with all the required information. Also, these scrap tickets are to be submitted in a timely manner.\nOnce a toolbox is provided to the Line Lead, they are responsible to bring it to work, every day they are present.\nEnsure that ALL unused components and materials are returned to warehouse at the end of run.\nLine Lead is responsible for ALL production to be counted, tagged and sent to the warehouse at the end of run.\nTroubleshoot solutions for technical problems, associated with assigned processes.\nThe work area(s) are required to be maintained in a clean and organized manner at all times.\nCarry out other duties as may be required.\n\nWhat do we offer?\n\nYou are offered an interesting role in a dynamic, fast paced and global environment with great opportunities to grow and take on new challenges.
