This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.\nThe ideal candidate for this position will have a cybersecurity program management. oversight utilizing collaboration technologies like Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management. This role involves supporting Cybersecurity Programs comprehensively. While maximum telework is acceptable, the candidate must be located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC.\nWe offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401K with company matching, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays, three weeks paid time off, and more.\nFunctions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:\nLeveraging industry best practices, techniques, tools, and procedures, perform network and digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis.\nPerforming advanced cyber threat hunting throughout the IT enterprise.\nAnalyzing detailed information and intelligence on known and emerging Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) and cybercriminal actors to develop attack hypotheses relevant to the client enterprise.\nIdentify vulnerabilities and weakness within the client systems, determine exposure and complexity of exploit.\nIntegrate Red Teaming into penetration testing processes and procedures.\nConduct continuous penetration testing of the enterprise IT environment.\nAssess the effectiveness of security controls implemented to protect client systems in support of the Authorization Process, Security Impact Analysis through Change Management and as required.\nMimic attacks of threat actors defined by the Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Team to assess and improve IT system resilience, monitoring effectiveness and tuning of security tools within the client environment.\nPerform ad hoc, focused pen tests to validate effectiveness of corrective actions taken to address identified weaknesses.\nIntegrate services within Agency Software Development Platforms and pipeline processes.\nPerform Penetration Testing Services for any internal or public websites and associated systems.\nProvide the results of information gathered during the reconnaissance stage of testing.\nProvide tactical recommendations to address security issues of immediate consequence.\nProvide strategic recommendations to enhance security by leveraging industry best practices.\nProvide optional manual follow up remediation validation testing as requested.\nVerify the successful migration or repair of findings once penetration testing is complete.\nApplying agile workflow management practices to enhance the efficiency of cybersecurity programs.\nUtilizing collaboration technologies such as Microsoft Project, Teams, and Azure DevOps board management for effective task tracking and oversight.\nSupporting the full spectrum and complexities of Cybersecurity Programs within a technical enterprise environment.\nCoordinating and managing workflow processes to ensure timely and secure project completion.\nWork Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nMinimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity program management.\nCertifications in CISM, CISSP, PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, and SAFe Agile.\nStrong knowledge and experience in agile project management methodologies.\nProficiency in utilizing collaboration technologies for effective task tracking across various platforms.\nComprehensive understanding of cybersecurity program management principles and best practices.\nAbility to work efficiently in a technical enterprise setting.\nFamiliarity with overseeing cybersecurity programs from project initiation to completion.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.\nAbility to adapt to changing cybersecurity landscape and industry trends.\nBachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university.\nWorking Environment & Conditions\nThis job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.\nThis position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.\nThe incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
