You'll have an opportunity to work on world-class military programs that support the US Navy's Warfare technology as part of the Surface Systems Branch. The applicant shall work remotely and on site with other engineers and managers and provide senior underwater weapons support to various division weapons programs. The applicant will be required to work in collaborative teams working with program technical leads and their engineers.\n\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nAdvanced degree in a science related field\n15+ years of Navy Underwater Weapons experience\nExperienced with Navy Program Management\nExperienced with managing projects for Navy weapon systems and components\nJob experience with Navy or DoD is desirable\nSKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:\nAdvanced understanding of Navy underwater weapons\nAdvanced understanding of the principles of requirements management, risk analysis, data management, configuration management, verification and validation\nExperience with managing projects for Navy weapons systems and components, product improvement programs, and manufacturing technologies\nExperience with integrated master schedule development and tracking\nExperience with analysis report writing and weekly report writing\nAbility to interact with technical and non-technical customers and external teammates to understand their technical issues, frame potential solutions and develop collaborative projects\nAbility to effectively communicate orally and in writing\nAbility to handle multiple assignments and work in a dynamic environment\nOTHER REQUIREMENTS:\nCandidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance or favorable adjudication of a national security background investigation.
