Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is "On-Site" at the location detailed in the job post.This is an exempt level position.Position Summary:ADM is seeking a Fleet Manager to manage tug boats and barge fleets at our American River Transportation Company (ARTCo) fleeting location in St Louis, MOJob Responsibilities:Responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operationsOversees regular vessel housekeeping, maintenance and engineeringAssist Captains with administrative duties and compliance with Corporate programsManage vessel staffing, including hiring of vessel personnel; communicating areas of accountability and performance expectations; conducting employee evaluations and recommends promotions, transfers and dismissals; and employee trainingInsure vessels and crews compliance with environmental, safety and USCG regulationsDirectly responsible for oversight of barge fleet maintenance, compliance, and keeping up with fleet conditions.Additional duties and responsibilities as required or requestedParticipate in safety and industry audits while promoting a culture of safetyAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesJob Requirements:Promote the ADM Way and core ValuesAbility to manage a diverse teamAble to communicate with all levels of the organizationMust have a demonstrated history of safe work behavior and a sincere desire to follow and improve upon safety policies and proceduresProficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook, and WordExperience in logistics and/or planning preferred but not requiredProblem solving and conflict resolutionCritical and creative thinkingDemonstrate time management and organization skillsAbility to coach, mentor, engage and develop workforceParticipate and lead strategic discussions and decisionsParticipate in continuous improvement projectsAbility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and Holidays as needed. If you do not have a TWIC card upon hire, you must apply for one within 5 days.Working knowledge of Subchapter M and fleet boat operations.High School Diploma (or equivalent) required. Bachelor Degree in Management and/or industry experience preferred.Physical Requirements:Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying conditions such as hot, cold, dusty, etc.Standing and sitting for prolonged periods of timeOperating a keyboardKneeling and climbing stairs/laddersAbility to work near or on large bodies of water, at various heights and in confined spacesADM requires the successful completion of a background check.Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.The pay range for this position is expected to be between:$92,800.00 - $170,700.00Salaried Incentive Plan
