Job Description
DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial and residential electrical work and possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, components, safety procedures/protocols and building codes. This role involves working on construction, commercial, industrial and residential sites reading blueprints and ensuring that all electrical installations and/or repairs comply with the National Electrical Code. Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for repairs, installation of electrical systemsRepair and install lighting and power distribution systemsUtilize ammeters and other testing equipment to diagnose electrical issues. Perform new construction and renovationsPerform electrical safety inspections/practicesEnsure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional mannerPerform other duties as may be required by supervisorWork with both low voltage and high voltage systems as requiredCollaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate electrical work with other tradesPerform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctionsProvide guidance on frame carpentry as it relates to electrical installations/repairs when necessaryInstall Stand-by GeneratorsWire new and remodel residential projectsIdentify and troubleshoot electrical problems using appropriate testing devicesPerform general electrical maintenanceRequirementsProven experience as an ElectricianExcellent problem-solving skills Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations are a plusExperience with both low voltage and high voltage systems is preferredKnowledge of electrical systems, schematics and blueprintsFamiliarity with power tools and equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and safety proBenefits$60K-$150K, plus (hrly (DOE), plus uncapped commissions)Health, Dental, VisionEligible for HSA Account401KCompany Stock OptionsCompany Vehicle/Gas Card
