If you’re passionate about cutting-edge technology, energized by fast-paced environments, and ready to make your mark at a company that’s redefining travel and expense, we want to hear from you.What You’ll DoDraft and negotiate complex commercial contracts (sales and services agreements, data processing agreements, and ancillary documents) with enterprise customersLead customer-facing legal negotiations in partnership with the Sales, Privacy, Finance and Product teamsDevelop and contribute to templates, forms, and playbooks to improve collaboration, and support enablement of the Sales teamProvide legal advice and guidance on procurement contracts to internal stakeholdersTake on additional matters as needed, including supply and channel partnerships, feature licensing, and inbound license agreementsWork collaboratively and develop positive relationships with business stakeholders to strengthen the connection between our team and the business - under tight deadlines, and while managing multiple priorities.Contribute positively to the culture of the Navan Legal team and the company as a wholeWhat We’re Looking ForQualified lawyer in your practice jurisdiction5+ years of experience as a practicing attorneySignificant experience negotiating complex commercial agreements with Fortune 500 companies, preferably at a SaaS or other technology company Experience negotiating global commercial contracts, especially for customers in AustraliaUnderstanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and other privacy laws relevant to SaaS strongly preferredProvide pragmatic, business-minded guidance on customer and contract-related issues.Familiarity with financial regulations and fintech contracting strongly preferredExcellent communication skills are absolutely essential; you should be comfortable, confident, friendly, and capable of explaining complicated issues at the right level of detail for the audienceStrong understanding of software, cloud services and generative AI, associated business models, and technology industry trends.Commitment to client service, with high emotional intelligence and the ability to perform well under pressure
