As a K-4 school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois, your Days Will Include:Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-4 in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments to identify students' communication needs and determine appropriate services.Develop, implement, and monitor individualized speech and language goals based on student needs.Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers.Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and provide progress updates in accordance with IEP requirements.Support students across areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and functional communication, as appropriate to individual needs.Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and school requirements for special education and related services.
