Sourcing Manager - Technology Procurement

Job DescriptionSourcing Manager - Technology ProcurementSalary Range: $120k to $156k Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager - Technology Procurement to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technology-related goods and services. This role is responsible for vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization while ensuring alignment with business requirements and procurement best practices.The ideal candidate will bring strong negotiation skills, deep knowledge of procurement processes, and experience managing complex technology sourcing engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end sourcing activities for technology products and services, including hardware, software, and professional servicesIdentify, evaluate, and select qualified vendors to meet business and technical requirementsNegotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements to achieve optimal valueManage high-value and complex procurement transactions in alignment with internal policies and guidelinesDevelop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize spend and improve vendor performanceConduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and service qualityDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, including:Master Service Agreements (MSA)Vendor agreementsStatements of Work (SOW)Licensing and subscription agreementsLead RFP, RFQ, and RFI processes, including development, evaluation, and vendor selectionMonitor and evaluate vendor performance and manage ongoing supplier relationshipsIdentify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative sourcing strategiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, finance, legal, and operationsEnsure compliance with procurement policies, legal requirements, and industry regulationsMaintain confidentiality and integrity in all procurement activities Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related field7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or strategic sourcingProven experience sourcing technology products and servicesStrong negotiation and contract management skillsExperience managing complex, high-value procurement initiativesProficiency in drafting and analyzing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIsStrong understanding of contract structures and pricing modelsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree or MBAExperience with e-procurement tools and platformsFamiliarity with procurement or financial systems (e.g., ERP or sourcing tools)Knowledge of workflow and procurement automation toolsExperience supporting technology, marketing, or professional services sourcing Core CompetenciesStrategic sourcing and vendor managementContract negotiation and cost optimizationFinancial and market analysisCross-functional collaborationProject and stakeholder managementAttention to detail and organizational skills
