Reporting to the Project Delivery Group , you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.\nWe’re entrepreneurs with a technical soul. We encourage candidates to connect with your recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals.\nHatch will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.\nQualifications: Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills\nPreferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university\nMinimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale\nAs the successful candidate, you will: Assist the Lead Structural Engineer in developing project scopes, engineering estimates, capital cost estimates and developing repair methodologies\nApply Civil / Structural engineering principles to provide efficient, effective, economical and timely solutions to design problems in a multidiscipline project environment\nDirectly apply and develop knowledge in structural steel,concreteand foundationdesign forbuilding and equipment supportstructures\nDesign structures and components\nGain valuable on-site practical experience\nYou bring to the role: Knowledge of structural steel and concrete design\nKnowledge of using IBC, ACI and AISC code\nFE / E.I.T certification in hand and asset\n3D analytical softwareexperiencesan asset\nPrevious co-op or internship experience is an asset\nCompetencies (knowledge, skill, attributes): Good understanding of engineering and business fundamentals as they apply to engineering problems and projects\nAbility to learn quickly and to take on new challenges\nCollaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nShows critical and creative thinking and problem solving and brings forward solutions for our clients' toughest challenges\nAdapts and embraces change\nRequirements for all sectors: To live our manifesto.
