You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance server-side applications that power our platforms. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to build and enhance services that serve thousands of users.\n\nEssential Functions\nDevelop and maintain scalable and performant Java-based backend services and APIs.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and testable code using modern design patterns.\nOptimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.\nDebug and resolve technical issues and production incidents.\nContribute to system design discussions and architecture decisions.\nMaintain documentation of systems and processes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n4+ years of professional experience in back-end development with Java.\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.\nExperience with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful API development.\nFamiliarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL,) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).\nKnowledge of version control tools such as Git.\nUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.\nFamiliarity with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and microservice architectures.\nExposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).\nFamiliarity with cloud services (AWS or Azure).\nExperience with Query Optimization\nExperience with Multithreaded implementations\nExperience with Clustered applications\nExposure to front-end integration (e.g., understanding of APIs consumed by Angular/React apps).\n\nOther Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood communication and teamwork abilities.\nProactive attitude with attention to detail.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\n\nOther Duties\nIn addition to performing the essential functions of the job, this position may require other duties as assigned.
