This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting across both infrastructure and business systems and can serve as a bridge between technical operations and business users.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nSQL & Database Administration\r\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries, scripts, stored procedures, and reports.\r\nSupport operational databases used for business-critical applications.\r\nTroubleshoot database-related issues affecting application performance and user operations.\r\nPerform database maintenance, data validation, backups, and data integrity reviews.\r\nAnalyze data and create ad hoc reports to support business and operational needs.\r\nAssist with database migrations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.\r\nBusiness Application Support\r\nServe as the primary administrator and technical owner for key operational business systems.\r\nSupport application integrations, workflows, reporting, and user access management.\r\nTroubleshoot application issues and coordinate with vendors when necessary.\r\nWork directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement system improvements.\r\nSupport data imports, exports, and system configuration changes.\r\nSystems Administration\r\nAdminister Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.\r\nSupport virtualization platforms, file systems, backups, and cloud services.\r\nManage user accounts, permissions, and system security.\r\nMonitor system health, performance, and operational reliability.\r\nAssist with infrastructure projects and technology modernization initiatives.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in systems administration, application administration, or a related role.\r\nStrong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query development and troubleshooting.\r\nExperience creating reports, analyzing data, and supporting operational business applications.\r\nProficiency writing complex SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures.\r\nExperience supporting business users and translating operational requirements into technical solutions.\r\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across applications, databases, and infrastructure.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nExperience supporting ERP, logistics, manufacturing, CRM, or other operational business systems.\r\nExperience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or similar platforms.\r\nExperience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.\r\nKnowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.\r\nIdeal Candidate\r\nThis role is ideal for a technically hands-on professional who enjoys both systems administration and database-driven application support.
