School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Lansing, Michigan

Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational community, providing critical speech therapy services during the fall semester.Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-4th grade studentsConduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansCollaborate closely with educators, families, and other school professionals to create positive outcomesMaintain detailed documentation and progress notes according to district and program standardsAttend IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting for each studentProvide evidence-based intervention in individual and group settingsQualifications:Active speech-language pathologist license in Michigan requiredHolds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); candidates with SLP-CF status will not be consideredPrior experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferredStrong knowledge of best practices for elementary caseloadsExcellent organizational and communication skillsDetails:Contract begins August 17, 2026, and ends November 20, 2026Schedule is full time, 35 hours per weekCaseload consists of kindergarten through 4th grade studentsIf you're ready to make a difference in the classroom and support students as they reach their full communication potential, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
