This position is primarily field-based and requires working outdoors in various weather conditions.What You’ll DoInspect, repair, and maintain irrigation pipes, valves, fittings, and water linesTroubleshoot and repair farm equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems)Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtimeOperate equipment such as tractors, skid steers, excavators, and telehandlersTransport tools and materials to job sites using company vehiclesMaintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces, tools, and equipmentDocument maintenance activities and report major issues to leadershipFollow all safety policies and proceduresCommunicate effectively with team members and supervisorsSupport additional maintenance tasks as neededWhat You Need To Succeed1–2 years of experience in equipment or irrigation maintenance preferredExperience with agricultural equipment or mechanical systems is a plusBasic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to operate or willingness to learn heavy equipmentEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredTechnical training or certifications in maintenance or mechanics preferredWork EnvironmentOutdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)Exposure to dirt, dust, grease, and loud environmentsFrequent walking on uneven terrainPhysical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periodsOccasional extended hours depending on business needsKey Skills & CompetenciesMechanical Repair & TroubleshootingIrrigation System MaintenanceEquipment OperationPreventative MaintenanceSafety AwarenessTime ManagementAttention to DetailProblem SolvingCommunication & TeamworkSelf-MotivationAdaptability to Outdoor WorkBe Part of Something Fresh!If you're looking for a hands-on role where your work directly supports food production and agricultural operations, WP Rawl is the place for you.Apply today and grow your career with us!WP Rawl is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
