This is a hospital-based obstetrics-only role offering predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and freedom from outpatient clinic responsibilities. Due to continued growth and increasing patient volume, multiple positions are available within this well-established women’s health program.Position Overview • Full-time OB Hospitalist / Laborist• 12-hour shifts• Rotating weekends and holidays• No outpatient clinic duties• No gynecology practice required• No traditional call structure• Inpatient obstetrics only This opportunity is ideal for physicians who enjoy the hospital environment and want to focus exclusively on labor and delivery care without the administrative burden of running an outpatient practice.Clinical Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetrical care• Perform patient triage and assessments• Manage unassigned OB patients presenting to the Emergency Department• Perform emergency deliveries• Assist with cesarean sections and obstetrical surgical procedures• Collaborate closely with private OB/GYN physicians and hospital staff• Work alongside experienced nursing teams and multidisciplinary support The hospital maintains a high maternal care designation and is supported by strong physician leadership and experienced clinical staff.Compensation & Benefits • Base salary range: $320,000 – $340,000 (commensurate with experience)• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage• 403(b) retirement plan• Paid time off• CME allowance• Malpractice coverage with tail• Strong institutional support Start date typically 2–3 months following contract signing and credentialing.Candidate Qualifications • MD or DO degree• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency• Active or in-process New York State medical license• Minimum of two years of experience preferred (new graduates may be considered depending on training background)Community Overview Yonkers offers the perfect blend of suburban comfort and metropolitan access.
