This is a union position and eligible for health benefits, paid holidays and vacation/sick paid time off.\n\nPay rate is depending on experience and ranges from: $23 - $24.55 per hour.\n\nOther perks and benefits include, complimentary lunch daily and employee discount hotel programs offered through Crestline Hotels and Hilton Hotels.\n\nOverview\nThe ultimate mission of the hospitality Engineering team will be to ensure our guests’ satisfaction by exceeding their expectations. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the building, grounds, and mechanical equipment with particular attention towards safety and security. In addition, the role is accountable for performing maintenance tasks daily that are critical to providing an exceptional stay to each and every guest.\n\nKey Duties & Responsibilities\n\nMaintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program\n\nCheck work orders and night report for any assignment to be completed\n\nPerform Preventive Maintenance work orders. For example:\n\nMonitor and maintain all laundry and kitchen equipment\n\nMaintain guestrooms using rooms preventive maintenance program\n\nChange air-conditioning filters per the maintenance program\n\nCheck HVAC equipment; change filters, belts, bearings and lubricate as necessary. Also check for unusual noise or vibration, and adjust as necessary\n\nChange or repair locks as needed\n\nPerform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas\n\nPerform guest requests as assigned\n\nAssist in all phases of repair work\n\nAssist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor\n\nMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work area\n\nMaintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces\n\nEnsure security of any assigned keys\n\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nEducation and Experience\n\nClean and professional appearance\n\nAbility to communicate clearly (Speaking and writing)\n\nAbility to utilize basic technology including a smartphone and a computer\n\nExperience in maintenance or building trades preferred\n\nCrestline Hotels & Resorts is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Affirmative Action Employer.
