We fix that by binding a verified human to every agent action, with cryptographically signed intent.We are a FIDO Alliance member, FIDO2-certified, and NIST AAL2, SOC 2, PSD2 SCA and PCI aligned. The platform runs multi-region on Kubernetes with CockroachDB, Vault, and an OAuth/OIDC core extended for verifiable intent. Our customers and partners include some of the largest payments and identity networks in North America.The roleWe’re looking to adopt a software factory model. Specifications go in one end, reviewed and audited production code comes out the other, and the humans in the middle spend their time on architecture, specification, and quality. You will build that system here, and you will own the architecture it produces.In your first year you will:Own the architecture. AI writes code well. It does not yet decide how a multi-region identity platform should be componentized, where the trust boundaries sit, or which abstractions will still hold in two years. That judgment is yours.Own the quality bar. Build the audit layer: static analysis, review gates, test strategy, and the human checkpoints that make AI-authored code safe to ship in a PCI-compliant, FIDO2-certified environment. Design the delivery system. Define how work flows from Jira ticket to specification to agent-generated code to review to production. Pick and integrate the tooling: Claude Code, Codex, and whatever comes next.Coach the team. Our engineers are strong. Your job is to move them up the stack into specification, review, and product-definition work.Set the pace. We want to ship fast, learn fast, and patch fast. You'll help us trade perfectionism for velocity without trading away correctness.Shape the engineering culture. Foster an environment of high ownership and rapid experimentation, ensuring the team remains aligned as we shift from traditional workflows to AI-native processes.You'll report to the CEO and work alongside our Head of Product, leading a team of roughly a dozen engineers across platform, infrastructure, SDKs, and front end.What we need you to have done alreadyWe're looking for someone who has taken a real development team through this transition and come out the other side. Not someone who is excited about AI coding. Not someone who personally ships a lot with Claude.
