Join us.\n\nJob Description\n\nAECOM is currently seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Construction Project Scheduler to join our Program Management team in Las Vegas, NV . The ideal candidate will be technically proficient in Primavera P6, possess strong communication skills, and have the ability to manage and convey complex scheduling information effectively across diverse project teams.\n\nResponsibilities included but not limited to:\nDevelop, review, and maintain construction project schedules in Primavera P6.\nInterpret construction plans and contract documents.\nAssess schedule logic and forecasts for reasonability, identifying and correcting any inconsistencies. Identify and thoroughly investigate any variances in project schedules, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.\nDevelop, review and maintain organizational structures including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Activity Codes, and naming conventions for Activity ID and Description.\nDevelop and review cost-loading and resource loading for construction schedules.\nApply concepts of scope control, change management, and earned value management.\nMeasure project schedule progress and monitor critical path activities.\nIdentify schedule risks and provide strategies to mitigate delays.\nPrepare detailed schedule reports and assist in monthly report preparation.\nDevelop Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports and dashboards using Power BI to track and report on schedule performance.\nUtilize schedule layouts and filters to develop custom reports.\nConduct Time Impact Analysis (TIA) using methodologies such as impacted-as-planned.\nProactively coordinate with stakeholders, including scheduling meetings, sending reminders, and escalating issues when necessary.\nClearly explain scheduling positions and issues in formal meetings and/or presentations, ensuring all stakeholders are well-informed.\nDevelop PowerPoint presentations with graphics and data visualizations.\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nBA/BS + 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.\nPreferred Requirements\nMS in Construction Management, Architecture or Civil or related field.\nPrevious experience as an owner’s representative.\nAt least four (4) years or more of construction, including field experience.\nKnowledge of transportation and general building related scopes of work.\nExperience in developing cost estimates in UNIFORMAT and CSI formats.\nExperience in developing and reviewing construction schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects.\n\nAdditional Information\n\nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.\nRelocation is not available for this position.\nAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
