This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.\n\nAssembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nVisually inspect metal and components for imperfections.\nAssemble kits and components for refrigeration units.\nAssemble refrigeration units following quality standards and work order instructions.\nPerform various assembly functions using hand and power tools.\nFasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.\nUtilize electrical testing equipment as required.\nWork at different workstations based on production needs.\nIdentify parts for assigned product lines and ensure proper placement.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.\nRead and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine size, location, and type of components.\nCut, bend, and braze tubing to form liquid and suction lines of refrigeration systems.\nRemove air from systems and charge them with the correct type and amount of refrigerant.\nConduct pre-startup checks on all equipment.\nRead and follow written and verbal instructions.\n\nAssembly Requirements:\n\nAbility to lift 30 lbs. throughout the shift.\nMust be able to work in a hot environment.\nAbility to work while lying down, standing, or sitting.\nMust be able to perform fast-paced hand–eye coordinated tasks.\nExperience in electrical, carpentry, or refrigeration work is a plus.\nAbility to read blueprints and work orders is required.\nBasic skills using hand-held power tools and measurement devices.\nAbility to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with coworkers and supervisors.\n\nIND069\n\nAbout us:\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
