The right personality fit is just as important to us as technical skill.\n\nThis position is fully remote, provided the candidate resides in one of our eligible states (listed).\n\nJob Description:\n\nCloud Infrastructure & Operations\nDesign, deploy, and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code practices.\nAdminister and optimize core AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, and related services.\nImplement security best practices for cloud environments in partnership with IT Security.\nMonitor system health, performance, availability, and costs; proactively address reliability risks.\nParticipate in on-call rotations and incident response for systems owned by the role.\n\nDevOps & CI/CD Enablement\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.\nPartner with development teams to standardize build, deployment, and release workflows.\nImprove deployment safety through automation, testing, validation, and rollback mechanisms.\nIntegrate security scanning, secrets management, and compliance controls into pipelines.\n\nOperational Resilience & Documentation\nDocument architectures, pipelines, operational procedures, and automation clearly and accurately.\nProduce and maintain “as-built” and “as-operated” documentation to support IT Operations.\n\nCollaboration & Support\nServe as a technical partner to Application Development, Web Development, and IT Operations teams.\nProvide tiered operational support and troubleshooting for cloud and deployment platforms.\nParticipate in infrastructure and platform initiatives aligned with AAAS technology strategy.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\nFive (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, or DevOps roles.\nHands-on experience operating production workloads in AWS or Azure environments\nDemonstrated experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).\nExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools and automation practices\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on root-cause analysis.\nAbility to work independently with defined objectives and broad technical latitude.\nClear and effective written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate across teams without formal authority.\nDiscipline in documentation, change management, and following established standards.\n\n﻿Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
