Danfoss is seeking an EHS Manager to provide environmental, health, safety, and facilities leadership at our manufacturing site.\n\nThis position is responsible for driving site-wide compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and Danfoss global EHS standards while fostering a strong safety culture. The EHS Manager will partner with site leadership to establish EHS strategies, achieve business objectives, maintain ISO certifications, oversee facility maintenance activities, and engage employees in creating a world-class safety and environmental program.\n\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\n\nResponsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:\n\nLead the site's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and business objectives.\nDevelop, implement, and monitor EHS goals, objectives, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement initiatives that support a zero-incident safety culture.\nConduct risk assessments, identify critical environmental and safety risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to mitigate hazards and improve site performance.\nMaintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and occupational safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements, and ensure accurate regulatory reporting and recordkeeping.\nManage and maintain Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications, audits, and continuous improvement processes.\nLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, workers' compensation reporting, corrective actions, and near-miss reporting to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.\nDevelop and deliver EHS training programs, maintain training matrices, and ensure employees receive required safety and compliance training.\nCollaborate with site leadership, employees, vendors, customers, and regulatory agencies to drive EHS engagement, compliance, and operational excellence.\nOversee facility maintenance activities, site security programs, and ensure critical EHS operational controls are effectively managed and maintained.\nSupport crisis management activities and serve as a key point of contact during environmental, health, safety, or facility-related events.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree from an accredited institution.\nMinimum of four (4) years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a combination of these functions.\nExperience supporting regulatory compliance programs, risk assessments, and safety initiatives within a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.\nMaster's degree from an accredited institution.\nExperience implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.\nExperience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.\nProcess Safety Management (PSM) experience.\nExperience managing regulatory audits, certifications, and corrective action programs.\n\nJob Criteria\n\nStrong leadership, communication, presentation, and training skills with the ability to influence all levels of an organization.\nExcellent project management, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the interpretation of EHS performance metrics and trends.\nDemonstrated ability to build partnerships and gain commitment from employees, leadership teams, regulatory agencies, customers, and vendors.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and database management tools.\nMaintains a positive, professional, and respectful attitude while promoting a strong safety culture.\nAbility to meet physical requirements of the role, including occasional standing, walking, climbing stairs, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing facility and safety inspections.\nWhat You'll Get from Us\n\nAt Danfoss, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace fosters creativity, innovation, and a broader perspective in decision-making.
