This is a role for someone who excels at solving complex technical problems , takes pride in delivering well-engineered solutions , and helps elevate the capabilities of more junior team members.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDesign, build, and evolve Solutions agents, workflows, services, components, and applications that deliver customer value and quality.\nCollaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to deliver solutions that balance functionality, usability, security, and scalability.\nDevelop and test code in short cycles with a high degree of automation.\nConduct code reviews for features and systems within your scope, ensuring adherence to quality standards, security best practices, and architectural patterns.\nIdentify and address technical debt in your systems; propose refactoring efforts to improve code quality, maintainability, and performance.\nGather feedback from stakeholders and adapt your solutions accordingly.\nDesign, document, and communicate high-level functional designs and solutions.\nMentor and guide junior engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and problem-solving.\nStay up to date with emerging technologies and bring forward ideas to continuously improve Solutions and its ecosystem.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\n5+ years of software development experience.\nAt least 1 year experience building production-grade AI agents and complex intelligent systems within the enterprise.\nStrong working knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG strategies, fine-tuning, and grounding techniques, along with practical experience using major AI agent orchestration frameworks.\nSolid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles.\nDemonstrated ability to implement security best practices (e.g., authorization, data masking) and enforce responsible AI governance and guardrails in production systems.\nAbility to articulate complex technical designs and risks to stakeholders and non-technical partners.\nAble to work independently and manage your own priorities within a collaborative team environment.\nCommitment to delivering high-quality developer experiences and supporting others in building great software.\n\nDesired Skills\n\nExperience working with frontend/UX.\nFamiliarity with the OutSystems platform or similar low-code/no-code platforms, understanding their integration patterns and architecture limitations.\nProficient in C# (.NET) and Python, cloud-native deployment, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and scalable APIs (REST/gRPC).\nExperience working in Financial, Manufacturing, Public Sector, or Healthcare sectors.\n\nMore about OutSystems\n\nOutSystems is a leading AI Development Platform built for the enterprise.
