We are currently looking for a talented Apparel Technical Designer/Pattern Maker.\n\nPosition:\n\nThis role will be responsible for all aspects of the apparel process from design creation & pattern making to production while communicating with our overseas suppliers and factories This is a full-time position for a mid-level candidate who is meticulous, detailed, and driven by the technical aspect of the design process. We are searching for a passionate individual that is an out of box thinker who can collaborate with the existing team, outside vendors and across all levels of our organization.\n\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities:\nWork with management to assist in new product development and existing product modifications.\nWork closely with PLM’s to achieve product goals established to meet the market demands.\nCultivate and manage the technical specification packages.\nDevelop fit and production patterns in LECTRA MODARIS.\nRequest, evaluate and approve all prototype, fit, PP and TOP samples to determine compliance of specs, construction, quality and design intent.\nIllustrate meticulous pattern corrections and style comments to communicate accurate & precise information to overseas vendors and production.\nCreate markers for costing and production in LECTRA DIAMINO.\nPartner with Quality Control to review production garment(s).\nConduct competitor analysis studies.\nSkills & Qualifications:\nDegree in apparel manufacturing, product development, apparel design related field or equal on the job experience\n3+ years’ experience as a Technical Designer\nProficiency in electronic pattern systems Adobe Illustrator, PLM Systems, Modaris or Accumark\nAdvanced knowledge of target design specs, POM’s and grading\nMust have technical knowledge of garment construction, fabrics and tech pack\nGeneral knowledge of cotton, polyester and spandex fibers, as well as, yarns, knits and woven\nAbility to machine sew development samples when needed\nAdvanced ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to ensure deliveries are met\nProactive, self-motivated, advanced knowledge of how to delegate and still meet deadlines with \"get it done\" attitude\nAdvanced attention to detail and mistakes and problem-solving skills\nExperience in Athletic team sports a “plus”\n\nCompany Culture:\n\nWe are proud to offer eligible associates a full-range of benefits including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, 401K, Profit Sharing, paid time off, holidays, and reimbursement toward gym membership fees.
