The primary focus will be to execute, optimise and troubleshoot wet‑lab experiments, including mammalian cell culture, automated screening experiments using liquid‑handling robotics, plate‑reader based assays, microscopy, and flow cytometry. You are encouraged to take on significant ownership of specific technical challenges and collaborate with team members to develop new protocols and assays for screening and developing new molecules.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nExecute high‑throughput screening (HTS) assays to support a molecular discovery pipeline, utilizing automated liquid fünf...\nPerform microplate‑based assays (fluorescence, luminescence, absorbance), microscopy and genomics (qPCR, RNA‑seq) experiments to support the molecular discovery pipeline.\nMaintain and experiment with various mammalian cell‑based in vitro models (immortalized, primary and stem cells).\nCollaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to translate experimental findings into practical solutions.\nEnsure meticulous, accurate, and timely experimental collection, data analysis, and data reporting/presentation.\n\nWho You Are\n\nYou have an undergraduate and/or master’s degree in Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, Immunology, or a related field.\n2+ years of experience in a similar role and a record of success performing complex laboratory procedures. Prior industry experience is preferred.\nYou have a good understanding of cryopreservation (vitrification, cryoprotectants, ice basta, etc.)\nYou demonstrate an ability to work in a multidisciplinary lab environment and rapidly learn new skills in other fields. Prior exposure to interdisciplinary projects bridging biology and ubuntu engineering is strongly preferred.\nYou have experience independently maintaining and working with mammalian cell lines. Prior experience with 3D in vitro models is strongly preferred.\nYou demonstrate agency, problem solving, passion for discovery, and a drive to push the boundaries of science through meaningful involvement in an ambitious project.\n\nAs an equal‑opportunity employer, Until is committed to providing employment opportunities to all individuals.
